6700xt in stock at ocuk

Still in stock.

Shows you the Nvidia pull, unless 3060's are better at mining???¿???

But people will pay 200% over the odds for those, whilst these in my opinion are a better deal, yet still in stock.

a 6700xt cost more here than the 6800 my sis kid bought a few months ago.
so value is at it worst and make no sense to buy cards atm.

Was the same last mining hype, cards doubled in price.
One year later when the hype died down, cards went back to normal prices and I bought my vega56.
while it may take slightly longer for prices to return due to corona and transports and supply it will at some point.

Can't seem to find much reliable info, but how big of an upgrade will a 6700xt be over a Zotac1070 Amp. Was holding out for 3080's but they are just going to be out of my price range and patience game i think.

Oh I completely agree with you in general yes.

Just saying, specifically these versus the 3060s, these are the better deal (both still pretty horrendous), yet these have been in stock now for what, a week? The 3060's sold in less than 24 hrs.

The Asrock Challenger for me is the only worthwhile one at £749, it has the slightly better chip too (or they at least allow more tweaking on the higher boosting models). Sub-£700 for 2080Ti speed and I think they'd sell a lot quicker, but that may not even be possible for OcUK.

That's IF they sold, it's in OCUK's interest to make us think they did, at least a couple of other retailers have been "drip-feeding" cards online to make stock seem lower.

*takes off tin-foil hat*

Nahhhh I dont buy that.

Why do it on just the 3060's then not the 6700xt's, plus the website stated 10+ stock for several of the 3060 models.

Ok, 10+ could mean 11, or 1000, and it could be on the 3060's it was closer to 11, on the 6700xt closer to 1000, but I find that unlikely.

IF it doesnt have anything to to do with mining performance, it justs go to show you the power of the Nvidia brand over AMD, and how people will pay (even more) over the odds for them.

6700XT is roughly 2080Ti performance so double-ish sounds about right.

No? 2080 TI is faster than a 6700xt. Like all things it varies, but the 2080 TI is about 5-15% faster, about 10% faster on average.
The 3070 is about tied with the 2080 TI, that's what I assume you were thinking (with faster RT on 3070).

Going off what I saw here, but I did say roughly. Knowing AMD's drivers it'll be faster than a 3080 in a year :D :p

Either way it's pretty nippy.

HUB finds 2080ti the same as 6700xt.

Even at 15% speed difference it comes down to what you prefer. I never liked radeon drivers before but Relive is working well-ish for me currently.

This is more like it, although a bit inflated. Nvidia demand is higher globally and we have always been very strong when it comes to AMD relationships in the UK, with the exception of XFX. Whereas it's fair to say that Nvidia make their favourites pretty clear. We have many more parts in stock of 3060/3070 than 6700XT/6800 but we do have more units per part on the AMD side. Also, as we've said before, due to the way that bots react when we put an NVidia card on the website, it's much easier for us to open up those few AMD lines for public sale.

Looking at the cost right now, coming from a 5700XT I'm not sure the 6700XT is a big enough jump in perf to warrant that the cost....msrp price maybe....but really wanted the leap the 6800XT offered...

Guess it's back to the waiting game.....
