Uncharted 4: A Thief's End

If they can properly crank up the visuals on PC I will probably buy it again and play. One of the reasons I purchased a PS4 pro.

Would have liked to see God of War but hey ho.

Mixed feelings - it's not the best Uncharted game but it's a graphical marvel. Shame they aren't porting the first three games though. There are a lot of things in U4 that link nicely into previous games which newcomers won't fully appreciate.

But hey! Every game that comes to PC is great news for future preservation purposes.

That's cool. Wouldn't play it again, the first quarter of the game is a horrible slog and put me off finishing the game for months. Its also not the strongest entry and probably a bit weird to follow if you hadn't at least played 2/3.

YESSSSS, this is by far, my favourite game on the PS4. I love action adventure games and this is so much better than Tomb Raider. Oh god, it's going to look amazing in ultrawide with 144fps.

my TV is 60Hz and the game is 30.
Yes, on any 60hz TV the missing frame per refresh is extremely visible, unless one uses the "true motion" frame interpolation which adds ungodly amount of input lag.

I just hate 30fps in general, it may be playable, but it is never actually pleasant to play. I stopped playing Days Gone after seeing how it ran on Pro, now on PC it is amazingly smooth and immensely more enjoyable.

Motion handling varies a lot by TV. You can't make blanket statements that 60Hz TVs won't be smooth, it depends on the technology, the picture mode and different options the user may have selected (although if you're not using Game mode you're being silly - input lag!).

I played it on my PS4 Pro on an LG B7, no complaints. Maybe I'll run it on my PC with a CRT monitor, then we can all marvel at how smooth it is.

What's more interesting is seeing first party Sony games coming to PC. Are they going to move more multi-platform in the future?

I imagine the earlier games would take longer to remaster to an acceptable level on PC, maybe they will come later? I have the uncharted collection and I can highly recommend it on PS4.

Either way, I hope this is an early indication we'll get Gran Turismo on PC. How about that for a off-topic twist.

Uncharted is a fantastic series, but as others have said i”d rather see 1,2 and 3 first or Uncharted released as a collection.

It's the first thing I noticed - the judder - but I guess that's because my TV is 60Hz and the game is 30. But it was very off putting especially during the
Scotland?
mission.

I honestly never ran into those issues when I played it on the old LCD CCTV Samsung from 2008. Or it has been so long since I can remember. The game was fluid for me that I once remember but I haven't replayed it on the OLED.

I need to replay the Lost Legacy again. The combat was so fun. Though the battle at the end of, Chapter 10? of Uncharted 4 on challenging was fun. When they all drop into that pit.

Though, the chungus on chapter 20 still give me fear on challenging. They were aimbots and so tanky that I remember.
