*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

I'm in queue for a 3080 Asus OC TuF Edition. Just want to say I would be happy to upgrade from the 3080, lose my position and pay extra to upgrade to one of the Ti Variants. Hopefully, you guys will try to sort out the massive back-orders you have before even considering releasing the cards to anyone else. Thank you for all the hard work you guys are doing at keeping us up to date with information. First time posting after being on the forum since October time when I ordered and wanted to keep up to date with what was going on. Appreciate you guys. @Gibbo @ScottiB

And they'll still sell out :p
yeah and for the extortionate price they pay, they will get a 3-10% performance increase over a 3080 and half the vram of a 3090, like lambs to the slaughter! nvidia and their aib's need to get their **** together and start living in the real world of Joe public who works hard for his money. Another disaster just waiting to proceed, watch it go! basically doomed if we do, doomed if we don't, but after you've got one, will you say to yourself, oh I did well there! real value for the money.
;) would still have one though!

seems HUB still agrees with me its AIBs not nvidia selling direct to miners.

Nvidia might not be selling FE direct to miners (not proven either way) but Nvidia have CMP variants which they actively push to miners. CMP cards, which they get their AIBs to build for them using parts which could go towards cards for end users so, no matter how much people might want to twist the truth to support their own opinions. Neither side is blameless in this.

Great info, learnt something new today! :p amazing how you pick stuff up here and there and begin to build an understanding of how they work, I maybe trying to get hold of a gfx card but I have no love for nvidia, amd and all aib's as they all just want to extort as much as they can in real terms, don't get me started on scalpers! (morally repugnant) we are fodder to them no matter what they say, thanks @ScottiB

Its honestly so shameful, Especially since the last year more gamers are about than ever and most of us go to gaming as a means to get away from all the trouble in the world.

I have contacted also the seller, I opened a ticket on their website waiting for their response.
At the beginning of May, there was news that they were identical, in mid-may Nvidia said there should listing and box identification for difference.

Anyway will see, waiting for the manufacturer and seller response.

Why not just run an etherium miner program and see what hash rate you get? If it is about 100MH you have the original version, if it is only half (or less) of that then it will be the LHR one. I didn't think they were actually shipping the LHR version yet though.

Let me share an update that the manufacturer has responded to. I wrote Gainward and Palit (they are basically the same company)

They said: "There's an LHR logo on the bottom side of the product box if it’s the V1 edition."
They also send pictures of the box that where the LHR logo located. Mine is Gainward 3080 Phoenix but let me share both here for future reference for everybody.

Thanks @five8five and @ScottiB for help

The voucher thing for 3080Ti ... is it happening today?
As it stands currently, no. There's not enough stock here now to make it viable.

Besides, @Gibbo has done his usual trick and booked off "launch day" leaving me to do everything for him!!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

in his defence it is his birthday today

Happy Birthday, Gibbo.

So what happens to the "stock here now".
A gaming party?
