Heat reflecting films for windows?

Morning Overclockers,

I'm looking into heat reflecting films for the windows, given this place gets a lot of sun and heats up rapidly. No need for the privacy film types, this is just heat reflecting needed.

I've got a quote from a company for films for 4 Velux windows including installation coming in at £375 inc. VAT with guarantee, or they'll supply the film roll for £110 with no guarantee.

Any suggestions of good stuff or reputable companies to use?

Are you sure it still does not look silver and act in some way as privacy film?

I used this for One Way Privacy and Blackout:

IMO the Whiteout would reflect heat but you cannot see in or out, the Privacy one will also reflect heat but you cannot see in and it will be dimmer inside.

These ones quoted do, but I was meaning more that I don't need the privacy aspect being top floor. If they so happen to be privacy-ish, that's not a problem.

Well that is good stuff I got, non glue and unlike some it has lasted.

Buy a few tools and fit it yourself, save a fortune.

Thank you - I'll look into these. I definitely don't want complete blackout as they're the source of light in daytime, but they look to have others available too.

Blackout if in direct sunlight will crack the sealed unit, need silver/white.
