Fridge door pockets too low/not deep enough

I recently got a new fridge, but have found the door pocket sides to be too low/not deep enough and items keep falling out when the door gets opened. Biggest culprits are the 2 litre bottles of pop and the taller sauces.

Any idea on a solution to either raise the height of the front bit, or is there a ready solution I'm unaware of?

Pic to show what I mean. You can see that the pockets are way too shallow - 3 1/2" at the bottom and a measly 2" for the top one.

I had the same problem as this. I actually bought some 2mm plastic sheets from ebay and stuck them in place using a dab of silicon glue. Has worked a treat.

This will probably be your only viable option.

More importantly why have you open the new HP before finishing the old one

You animal! ;)

Same with the Ketchup.

Besides, who keeps ketchup and brown sauce in the fridge.

Open the door slower?
Our fridge door pockets aren't as stingy as this but if you open the door fast tall thin (i.e. relatively high centre of mavity) items can topple out. I once put a half finished glass of white wine in the fridge door with the intention of coming back to it later, my wife then yanked open the door and it smashed all over the floor in front of her. Could've been a lot more serious.......

... might have lost a whole glass of wine instead of just half a glass! :)

Came here to point this out. Glad I didn't have to scroll far before a normal human posted.

For some reason the thought of a half finished glass of wine in the fridge made me lol.

Heathens.

Imagine cold brown sauce. Grim :(
Are you even aware what brown sauce is? I thought Hampshire was all about the horseradish and béarnaise.

Following on from the ridiculous bottle rotation, are those ketchup bottles still sealed on the bottom shelf? This would make the pre-emptive bottle opening even worse :(

If you had cardboard packaging say from a Microwave meal, you could fold it in half and place tall items on top of it, with half sticking up parallel to the plastic upright. That should stop tall items falling out. Then change them when they get dirty.
