By future, I meant very far future though :D it just feels like the gpu drought will go on forever and PC gaming will be a huge luxury that is only accesible to a select few rich people :mad: damn nvidia and amd don't even produce anything below 350 dollar price tag... its just crazy at this point

You can't expect OCUK to redevelop their forums and main site just to do a slightly different kind of deal. If they do a custom deal just for you then they'll get every Tom Dick and Harry asking for favors. In some cases there isn't a good answer to some problems, when the cost difference in developing the software for different solutions is significant.

It is a good idea for the mainland but pretty useless for our location though.
As we cannot currently complete the checkout process.
- We have no delivery options unless we phone the order in manually, and by then it's all over.
 
I actually have been praising Overclockers with this solution in terms of giving members access to the cards. Even though I can't get one myself (literally bought my full rig from Overclockers last June.Do'H!). I think it's a step in the right direction. For the past month, when I've had a spare hour or two. I've been wasting scalpers time with meetups and offers that were never going to go through. Some people would call this trolling, I would like to call this adapting to the situation.

I really do hope though that when things return back to a normal production level they are left with these GPUs that they can't make a profit on and no one will buy from them. Wishful thinking eh?
 
I was so shocked to see it I tweeted the twitter account. Never made a forum account so didn't see the news. Hoping other retailers pull a similar scheme
