Hi Guys, first post of my own on here... I've just renovated my lounge and realised there is no good space for a TV so I'm looking at porting HDMI from my TV box to a projector... Looking at sound, without routing out all my freshly painted walls, can you bluetooth speakers to the projector? Cheers

It's pretty common these days for good quality projectors to have bluetooth but you would be restricted to stereo at best due to bluetooth not supporting Dolby/DTS surround sound formats and there is a fair chance that you would encounter sync/lag in the sound.

If your gunning for anything like a decent home theater sound from your setup your could look at mounting a soundbar to the wall or biting the bullet and going traditional speakers and amp route - for something compact and relatively discrete I would recommend the Bowers and Wilkins MT-50 package. The speakers can be mounted on dedicated stands that the wires can be fed through and then run under your carpet (assuming you have any!), the subwoofer is very compact but not wireless. The new SVS 3000 Micro sub with their wireless adapter would be an excellent alternative if wireless sub was a must.

Yeah we're actually only using it to replace of a normal TV system so not too fussed about surround sound etc, the lag isn't something I thought about though which doesn't sound fun. Soundbar is certainly an option though, although the main wall we would want the soundbar on is curved. I had a look at the B&W mt-50 package and looks really good, only issue is we have solid wooden flooring. Which I've just finished as well, i'm not feeling pulling it back up to run wires under. I'll look into the SVS3000 for sure though, thanks for the sound advice! (pun intended)
