Need a good graphics card

I'm looking for a graphics card for arround £400-500 mostly to play forza horizon and motorsport and car x drift racing what would the best card be for arround that price range

I'm not recommending you actually buy it because it's very expensive for a 2060. But it's the best you'll get for your budget at the moment.

My advise is keep waiting for something better. I'm going to wait until 2022.

Hi Kyle, I would agree with tomcat, best card is the 2060 for that price but if at all possible hold off till the inflated prices come down and buy a 3070 or 2080 . Sadly it’s hard to predict when this will happen so if urgent get the 2060.

There may be something good like a 1070 or a 1080 second hand for around that price. You'll get better performance for the cost of no RTX cores or other modern features.

I think 1080 second hand is better than 2060 new. no warranty tho so risky as hell.

You mentioned up to 500£, push to 530£ and wait for a deal again for something like a 6700XT or 3060Ti

For Forza at this moment in time i would just buy an Xbox.
unless you get extremely lucky and nab a 3060ti FE or a 3070FE you are only getting a 2060 for that budget which honestly is not a good card for that money.

What resolution do you game at and specs of your current pc ?

I'd go with the xbox if all you want to play is Forza. However there are other racing titles on the PC which have plenty of mods which you would miss out on. If that interests you then wait and get 3XXX series card.

If you can find a 2080 or 2080s second hand around 400 -500£, that would be it.

Thanks for all your replies. I already have an xbox but this is my first PC build. I was originally looking for the GTX1660 supper, but the cost has gone astanomical, if you can even get one.
Has anyone upgraded recently and have there old one for sale?

You "might" be able to swag a founders edition RTX 3060 Ti or 3070 at that price if you set up some alerts and you're very quick. That's what I'm trying to do. As you may have guessed, I haven't succeeded yet!
