Necromunda: Hired Gun

How's the replayability? I thought it was a case of:

Accept bounty > do bounty > reap rewards and repeat.

Or is it campaign based with an end and credits?

There is a campaign with a story, but you can do side missions (bounties) that are essentially what you describe. If the campaign is too hard, you can do a few bounties to get enough credits to buff your character a bit sop you can beat that tough section etc

THis games absolute trash it plays nothing like doom it feels 30 FOV the gunplays horrible everything is horrible it feels like a free game

I tried to like it but meh imo it's horrifically bad if just for the janky fov alone

Well said. Im playing on a 10900k and a 3090 at 4k and even at 100fps plus, it feels far from smooth. Its weird as I can see the frames counter but it feels sub 60.

yea strictly for superfans this one , its a functional game I went ott but it all just feels a bit off to me

It's to do with character spawns apparently and a fix is in the works. I heard the game described as "Eurojank" and it's definitely that, but I really enjoy it.

I hadn't noticed the FOV, but I play in UW so it doesn't feel restrictive (the guns are massive though so on 16:9 I can see how that might feel cramped). I get crashes here and there, and for a movement based shooter they deffo need to sort out the stutter on asset loads. I've found DX11 to feel a bit better on that front, but that might be placebo.

The game itself I'm enjoying though. It's nuts, everything is exploding and the aesthetic is bang on.

The soundtrack of this game is so good!

And shaking my head at some of the posts above. "Nothing good about this game at all". How about the awesome gunplay and spectacular level design and soundtrack.
