MRSP Graphics cards deals.

Shame I was minutes or even seconds away from an FE earlier, don't feel like paying £4-500 for the same thing almost.

They are well below our cost price on every single AIB card

Well if it makes you feel any better I went and bought one anyway, riser cable so it can sit outside my tiny case hahahahah.

I will buy a new case from you, was going to go Lian Li, but one doesn't fit atx power supplies and the other doesn't cater for mini mobos. It was like a race against time trying to figure out everything I needed to know to buy it right now.

It's a shame as AIB 3000 cards at the current prices offer very little if any better price to performance than what the lacklustre Turing offered 3 years ago.

RTX 3060 £550 and offers similar performance of a 2070 which went for around £500

RTX 3060ti £700 slightly better than a 2080 super which went for £700

RTX 3070 £800 slightly less performance than a 2080ti with 3gb less VRAM for 200 quid cheaper.

RTX 3080/ti £1300 ~ £1500 for 25~35% faster than a 2080ti which started around 1K so 30~50% more expensive

RTX 3090 the less said about this the better.

Bingo, very disappointing after the initial announcement and hope of decent pricing. These prices are still above what they would be in a situation with normal stock level/demand though, surely?

Wait was there a forum member deal?

I recall a post where someone mentioned they intended to do so but I'm guessing the pricing from distributors was too high?

Stock is improving and prices are creeping down slowly so hopefully by the end of the year we maybe closer to the original msrp.

There seems to be an issue in the supply chain when one UK retailer can list for sale an Aorus Elite 3060 for £480 (and more than once in the last 7 days) while another retailer lists the card down the stack, 3060 gigabyte gaming OC for £600. You don't tend to see this big of a price difference with other electrical items. It would be interesting to see if Gigabyte can justify the difference in prices that the various retailers are having to buy and sell their stock at
