It really is an old style Resi but with a bit of real 3D thrown in.
Excellent game, with horrific voice acting.

Still my favourite resi game
Completed on the Dreamcast and again Code Veronica X on which ever console I had it on (can't remember). I really need to give it another play!!
I never used a guide, I just took a long time and checked every inch of every area lol
TBH I never really use guides, not even collecting all 120 souls on Shadowman back in the day. The only game I recall using a guide on was Zelda Majora's Mask

IIRC those sections in the arctic with those bloody moth things were a pain.
Ha! Yes - they would grab you and also lay eggs which poisoned you.
I did cheat though using https://www.playstationtrophies.org/forum/topic/180537-infinite-healthammo-glitch/
This glitch still works and even though i could heal whenever i wanted, i still died many times
