Ended up ordering the Inno3d IChill X3 3070 from oc today. Decent price honestly, don't mind paying a bit above msrp for the warranty that comes with buying from here.

Tempted myself, it's 27% faster than my 1080Ti and with DLSS I'd get more performance. The 3080 is my fave though, might just hold out for one later this year

I recently picked up a 3070 tuf OC from OCUK. I didn't realize it had the same cooler as the tuf 3080. It's vey nice and all, apart from the ice forming on the PCB.

On another subject..only just found out what the LHR in the graphics card description means...limited hash rate...to deter miners...I knew they were coming out but maybe I'm the last person on earth to know this LHR meaning (thought it was for the lighting effects lol.)

they were among the worst for a long time, I mean, I completely understand it from a business point of view, but not sure we should be congratulating them for it

all buisnesses rise and drop prices with supply and demand, its the nature of the beast called business, not forgetting distributors taking their slice etc etc. its like pigs in a trough at times

Lets hope that people learn a lesson from this, next time when the 4000/7000 series both drop, that people don't need to buy from scalpers because prices will eventually drop and they don't need to worry about FOMO. I have seen people paying scalpers more for a 2060 than I paid for my 3060
