The Nernst Lamp was a very early form of incandescent light bulb,which used a heated ceramic element in atmospheric air and did not need an inert atmosphere:

They are very rare,especially working examples,and this appears to be the first example of a working one demonstrated on YouTube:


There have been demonstrations of the concept,but not any actual original lamps.
 
I've recently discovered Photonicinduction, some of the stuff he posts is mental.

He obviously knows what he's doing and in this Nernst lamp vid, you can tell he's loving the lamp!
