So I am working at home and for at least 30 minutes all I can hear is 10 second clips of teddy bears picnic as an ice cream van drives around getting closer and further over time

Should I ask them to stop trying to sell this stuff as I am working, I mean what is it with people expecting someone to come round to sell them frozen snacks during working hours!

This is simultaneously keeping me awake and diverting my attention, I demand silence!

do they deliver it to your neighbours at 7am whilst wearing a shorts?
 
OP, I really feel for you. Inconsiderate scrotes. Do they not know that we are WFH?
 
I'd ask the icecream man to pay for suitable trees to deflect the noise, and compensation for the disturbance in the time it takes them to grow

It is a lot more modern to porcelain tile any inch of potential soil and eradicate any trees as they make leaves :rolleyes:

Also birds sit in them. You want bird crap on your corner sofa?

Have you considered just having a friendly conversation with them? Or I see the latest recommendation would motorbike revving acoustic glass solution, perhaps there is an ice cream tune acoustic glass solution?

Just be thankful your neighbours aren't doing good immitation of chavs and making as much noise as humanly possible every time they leave/come home and waking you up every morning. At least they're good with their kids :/
 
You don't have a gobby chiauhua living two doors away from you giving it the mouth when somebody approaches/passes his front garden. He's alright really, he's just got big mouth that never shuts under certain conditions.

I've been known to walk into the bacl office at the co-op and turn the instore radio off/volume down becuase of a certain christmas song and those covid 19 anouncements grinding o my nerves.
 
What is with all the different tunes the Ice Cream van has? I seem to hear different ones in different areas.
