oven door not full closing

This is a bottom hinged oven door, the type where you open the door fully and flip down a small lever on the hinge to enable you to remove the door.
(grill door is same mechanism and seals fine)
Its not quite fully sealing at the top allowing air to escape
I have just replaced the hinges with brand new ones thinking that would cure the issue and whilst it is probably marginally better it isn't full sealing
As a test I fitted the smaller grill door to the bottom oven and that seems to be seating correctly, the seal looks ok and there don't appear to be any restrictions preventing it shutting.
when I push on the door it will fully seal but only as long as it is held.
I can't see any adjustment on the doors/hinges to correct this.

These are the hinges

Am I missing something obvious ?

Are you sure it's not supposed to expel some air from the top? Our integrated oven certainly does

maybe check relative top/bottom door level with spirit level; can you put some shims on hinge.
worst case - get some high temp 1mm tape on the door ?

The home carriers/slots look true, and when I tried the upper door on the lower oven it shut tightly.

I have no idea if it should expel some air, logic says that because I am able to fully push it shut with my hand and the top oven shuts tightly that the bottom one should to.

Most of our ovens with cooling fans blow air out from vent above top oven and below control panel, although we do make some that blow into a grill on top oven door and down coming out between oven doors.
If the carriers are buckled it may not show but will have the impact you describe as the hinges are in effect leaning forward slightly.
Lastly were they the correct hinges as ours vary in spring tension but can look identical.

The hinges were the one in the link in the OP
I don't think the carriers are buckled, they look in perfect shape and I tested the smaller door on them and that seals to the outer seal as it should, I am not an expert though so they could be buckled like you say. Could I try and bend them in slightly to push the hinges back or is that a bad idea ?

The hinges are listed as genuine and when they arrived they were labelled main oven, they also look just like the ones I removed and fitted properly as well.

You could try to pad out the top part of the hinge that goes behind the carrier as this is where the wear/buckling will have the impact.

I can't see it being anything other than the carriers though and I'd be surprised if they were more than a tenner judging from your hinge price.

Please bear in mind though I've never worked on hotpoint stuff, but those hinges look very similar to electrolux group ones.

It was a bent carrier, it had also bent the chassis of the oven, just spent 10 minutes with a hammer and an old screwdriver straightening them up, and the door shuts properly again.

Thanks for the help
