When I press the power button my pc won’t turn on I have also tried using the short method with screw driver and it didn’t work
There is a light on gpu and that is itAny lights on the motherboard any fans spininng ?
That suggests theres some power coming from the psu but doesn't mean it producing enough power to power up the pc. Check all cables, maybe reseat the gpu and test hardware. There is a light on gpu and that is it

Fixed it it was I had a fan plugged into the wrong port on my motherboard it is all working fine now thanksYou changed case and it hasn't powered on since then?
Then I'd be double-checking:
- 24 and 4/8 pin power connectors plugged in firmly (I often run a fingernail around the point where they seat, to check they're fully connected)
- front panel connectors (especially the power button, obviously)
- that you didn't accidentally leave the psu turned off at rear of PSU
- that there's nothing underneath the board (screws, cables) that's causing a short
- that there's nothing pressing against the back panel, especially if you have a clear CMOS button or anything like that on the rear
- everything (RAM, graphics card) is firmly seated
- the cooler is not excessively tightly fitted
It's still garbage.Fixed it it was I had a fan plugged into the wrong port on my motherboard it is all working fine now thanks
Well it’s worked fine for me for over a year and I don’t have the money to replace itIt's still garbage.
For start it's 500W PSU at best.
Assuming you can trust anything in sticker, which is big leap of faith at same level to trusting rich people aiming for good of ordinary people.
