Are RX 6800 XT not wanted?

Shock horror, market leader with 83% share has people posting issues. mostly pebcak. Radeon is tiny in comparison.
As someone who owned plenty of both brands I can say with most confidence that the nvidia driver package is absolute garbage and has only gotten worse over the years. Ever since the 980ti, every card i've owned from nvidia with the exception of my 1080ti had major driver fault often or all the time, including but not limited to, stutter, microstutter, BSOD, Black screens, freezes. Even if you somehow managed to avoid most or all of these issues there are still some very weird and annoying design choices such as being forced to login to GFE to adjust something so simple as a sharpening filter on the go(unless you dont mind using the NvCP and restarting the game over and over), the archaic NvCP design with a slow loading application list. Ohh I forgot, the ffing telemetry. My driver problems only got to an acceptable level once I started running cleaned drivers without GFE or pretty much anything.

The 3080 FE isn't impossible to buy but is certainly difficult. The AIB 3080's that are readily available will set you back more than AIB 6800 XT's that are in stock. Folk use the 3080 FE selling at it's RRP as a means to denigrate AMD's offerings while often ignoring it's relative value compared to AIB Nvidia cards (and the 3080 Ti FE). It's an outlier, the same as the 6800 XT MBA in the regions where it's available (and that's even harder to find from what I've read).

There doesn't seem to be a problem keeping the 6700XT, 6800XT, 6900XT in stock. mostly low numbers, but you can always get them, just at an extremely elevated price.
