Advice for new PC for Circa 2k.

How does this look for around 2K--gaming and photo editing . I also mainly run 3 screens for work .

Just to add --I want to stick with Nvidia card ( currently have i7 & gtx1060 which is on its last legs)--also really like the Lian-Li PC-O11 cases. Thought I might splash on a top end graphic card later when prices are more realistic.

I do prefer Nvidia cards however I think the best CPUs are currently AMD ryzen 5000 series especially when compared to the Intel 11th gen.

If you did want to go Intel for the CPU then your best off waiting a month till the new 12th gen releases.

over £2k for a 3060 rig??? Please don't
 
Have you tried getting a nvidia founders edition card...(via telegram then FE PartAlert)...was a drop last week..about 45 of the 3070ti ended up on auction site going for £700/£750...either wait and get one from a drop, but even pickinbg one up from scalper you can build a system around the 3070ti for less than above
 
Back to the drawing board then-- If i buy a new PC i want a decent upgrade from what i have already. ( 16gb ram, i7 4770, gtx 1070, z97mx gaming 5 , 500gb ssd ). Would help if i knew what it all meant lol

1st, need to get a graphics card.. Gpu.. Nvidia founder editions are rhe only cards you can get at msrp... 3060ti £369, 3070 £469, 3070ti £529, 3080 £649...dont look at 3080ti or 3090 for a 2k build
So as above, you can get one via a drop... Any time mon fri.. Click link when it happens and nab one... Youll only have a few mins before rhry sell out.
Otgerwise you have to get one from a retaiker, who charging as much as scalpers or more(hence why 3070tife from scalper at £750 is still cheaper thsn a shop)
Then once you get that look at rest. As gsmi g and photo editing dont think you'll need anything more than 5600x to stsy current.. Do you need wifi?

Solid system but some Overclockers builds use lower quality power supply i would suggest you request upgrading that to something like a corsair rm 750w.

Using below as a point of reference.
Mobo is good price, as is the 1tb nvme, and psu(more than capabale of running 3090 so will do a further upgrade without having to worry about it). the 3060ti is what it is, if you can nab an fe, you save £280. The 5800X can be had for £345, case is a good price though the lancool mesh II is £96 so can save £46 there too, the aio would go on top, it's expensive and artic II 360mm is £119 I think, or a good air cooler For under £50, just put it in to carry ICUE software theme, but seen for £159. The Ram have I've seen for under £140, and way overpriced here, please never buy for that price. I know you don't want to build, but just showing you savings you can make before you take the plunge.
I find it hard that a supplier of pc hardware is pricing their builds so expensively. It's not exactly as if they selling the below at a loss, they're making a good profit from it,
so below with lancool case you can get everything for £1035 roughly or £1080 with the 5000X(or under £1k with an air cooler). Another option is the 4000D airflow for £64 and buy some LL120 or QL120 fans for the front, leaving close to £1k for a gpu..for that you can buy a 3080ti for £1049, ..they last over an hour on drops, sometimes 2, and you'll have a system that blows everything above out the water
Building a pc isn't that difficult. Just go slow and can be fun. You get a nice sense of achievement at the end knowing it's your build, and also gives you a good idea of where things are if ever anything goes wrong.
