750 watt PSU enough for a 9900k & 3090

i have a corsair ax 1000 titanium and am trying to figure out how its possible to be unhappy with a power supply, about the only thing i can say about corsair power supplies that might be a pain is the cables are very stiff with the caps in it makes them hard to get where you want them to go

i mean unless this is about a sff range specifically then i dont have any experience with those as i dont build a pc in a shoebox

Just use cable mod cables, they should seriously not even include cables with modular units

Coil whine. Tried 3 different 1000W RM and AX and all of them had coil whine.
Cables are fine, but if going for the premium sleeved ones, coil whine was even worse.
Previous EVGA 650W had only issue with noisy fan when on, and vertically mounted. If the intake was backing the floor, was fine.
Seasonic has been dead quiet.

sure lemme just throw £150 to get a 24 pin and some gfx card cables, i considered it but i am not rich enough for such a frivolous purchase when my pc is not sat next to my face anyway

ive never had a psu with coil whine and my last 3 were corsair 650, 750 and now 1000

Depends how everything is configured. I have a 750w psu for a 9900k and 3080, and it hasnt gone over 400w total.

However I undervolt my 9900k, and also undervolt my 3080. The 400w was hit without the 3080 undervolted.
