Ive a decent graphics card in the form of a RTX 3070 but i'm getting poor FPS in Call of Duty and understand I'm getting bottle necking from the CPU.
And now with Windows 11 upon us i dont meet the specs required
Currently im using a Intel Core i7 7700 so was looking to upgrade to a i9 or at least better cores/threads.
But it appears my Motherboard STRIX Z270H GAMING - LGA1151 (Kaby Lake) is not compatible with any i9's or i7's on the Overclockers site. Just a naff i3
Ive found elsewhere a i9-9900k would fit but unsure as to why it isnt available on OC.
And to tell the truth I really want to avoid taking the PC apart and replace the motherboard

Any suggestions?

Unfortunately the best CPU your board will support is the 7700K so if you want something more powerful and modern then you will have to upgrade the board.

I'd either go with a B550 + 5800X or a Z490 + 10850k and you want some fast ram 3600/16 as Warzone likes speedy ram.
