Hard line water cooling fitting kent

It’s this site when using your phone it does what it wants.
You have to double press return to get it to start a new sentence it’s ****** shot.
Yeah for a pc retail company
The forums do have a few glitches/peculiarities lol
Posting images can be a PITA
Searching for stuff can also be convoluted
Instead of just having 1 button to show your previous posts
I have to do a search of my own name to see something
I previously posted

Good news
The GPU tested fine :)
Nice to meet a fellow PC enthusiast too
And have a chat with someone who knows what you're talking about
My missus just nods and looks interested but hasn't got a clue
What I am talking about :cry:
Looking forward to the build log project
Especially since mark really knows how to take a photo
Unlike me:cry:

Thanks for letting me test the gpu and nice to meet you. Now I’m itching to get it built.

Itching to see it mate
After putting my GPU back in
Looks like the led lit pump has failed
It disappeared from the gigabyte software a while ago
But thought nothing of it
Gigabyte make good hardware but some of their software sucks big time
Guess after dinner will need to investigate the
Maze of wires behind the side panel
In case it's just a wire came off
Lucky I use 2 pumps just in case lol
The joys of watercooling never end :cry:

ah crap mate sorry to hear that now I’m thinking two pumps is better then one.
Hopefully it is a dodgy connection somewhere

Yeah might just be a wire
It's spaghetti junction behind the side panel lol
Honestly if building from scratch a 2nd pump would be my suggestion
Adds a little more to your outlay yes
But can prevent downtime
It's likely mine has been running on the 2nd pump for weeks
Just when I put my GPU back in
There's a couple large bubbles in the corner of the GPU block
That won't shift
So got me thinking something isn't right
So in a way I did you a favour which did me a favour :)

happy to help

Me too lol :)
Got mine sorted now:)
Loose molex connection behind the side panel thankfully
No idea why modern stuff is using molex connector
Going like whitewater rapids now lol
More snap crackle and pop than a well known breakfast cereal now
With all the bubbles popping

Yep a **** take that they’re still using molex instead of using sata to power the pumps.

not 100% sure
description says
This means the customer is able to upgrade his old EK-XRES Revo D5 unit or to utilize any existing previously owned D5 pump.
so does suggests so but i have never had to replace a d5
or disassemble my xres pump/res combos
so would think they look interchangeable
but not going to say absolutely yes

funnily enough I did disassemble mine the other day to give it a clean after stripping it down and the d5 screws onto the body which in turn screws onto the tube…
In short another £100 gone  fml

syncs by wifi using aida64 to get the hardware info
and free little server program called remote panel on the pc and android device
though theres a couple other softwares i messed around with
which could even display video/animations as well
if you get fed up with the hardware stats
the cables only to keep it charged by usb
though i need a right angled one to hide the cable
alternatively you can buy a screen
those use a usb 2.0 header on the motherboard
but most people have an old android device laying around
so i took the free option
plus you get a decent resolution
that ones 1024 x 600

PS.dont you ever sleep
thought i was the insomniac :cry:

edit
you can download files people already made for aida64
so it can look totally different from mine if you want
saves time making it from scratch
though you may have to modify parts of it to suit
i added the clock, altered name of gpu and cpu
and few other bits
basically just need to download one thats the correct resolution
for whatever screen you have

just looked at the case you got i think
it has a window in the psu shroud?
one of these might be able to go in the other end
of the psu shroud?
not read a review of your case so no idea if
that side of the shrouds plastic or metal but that bit looks removable
to make life easier
but could cut a hole and shove a screen there
nice and tidy no sign of the usb cable
or the black bar around the screen
though its a huge case so could place it other places
though that might look pretty good

those screens are super useful. Since rejigging mine, i couldn't choose which setup i wanted to go for and ending up buying multiples of screens (not at the same time) over the months due to random brainstorming of ideas.. and have finally decided on one.. now i have a couple screens i don't know what to do with. The joys of wasting money

The screen is probably my favourite part of my build. I manually control flow rate and fans so is super useful to see temps because I can forget to turn fans or pump up at times. This is just a sensor panel I downloaded from AIDA64 forums. I have to look into the software and do my own when I have time

The screen is a waveform brand iirc and got it from big river for approx £50. The viewing angles are absolutely awful and if I do not use white background then no information displayed can be seen. Luckily for me I want a white background but this screen would not work for everyone and if you have an old android device around I am sure it would work better. It is not even fixed and just held up by the cables it came with but I am looking into cutting a piece of acrylic to shield the entire back of the case and hide the cables.

It seems that I will never actually finish this build and always something to tinker with so it is super important that you do as much yourself as you can so you can service and repair when needed.

Looks like I am not the only fan of a screen
There's advantages and disadvantages
To using an old android device
First one it's free
Most people have one laying around
That one was a sky freebie and it's awful can barely
Browse the web it's so slow
But works great as a screen
Then usually the old android has decent resolution
That's 1024x600 and 7 inch display
Also it does have good viewing angles
It's also possible to use it for videos/animation to match a theme
Not sure you can play those on the screens you buy

Disadvantages it may overheat though that one hasn't
And you need to turn on ERP or whatever your bios equivalent is
To stop power being sent to it once the pc is off
Since it's plugged into an actual usb port
Not a usb 2.0 motherboard header

And if you look carefully on the aida64 forum
There's a post with a link to about a gigabyte of sensor panels
Other people already made
Though takes a while looking through them all
