MSI X470 gaming plus max?

I have this mb having just upgraded to ryzen 7 3800x, its my first time with ryzen coming from intel, i have one question, should i keep the gaming boost feature on or not? will it lower my idle temps if i turn it off and will it make a difference to performance?

Thanks for the info, mmmmm i may disable it and see if my temps etc come down a bit

What temps you getting and what cpu cooler and case you have ?

Idle load temps

Idle temps with stock prism cooler are mostly in the 40s but does go down to 37.... gaming temps have seemed ok, they are mostly at 68 but some times go up to 71 for a short time, my intel chip was at 28 idle but did have a aftermarket cooler on it.

My case is a old cooler master cosmos, huge ******* thing lol

Those temps are pretty decent the wraith pisim cooler is pretry good but could always improve with an aftermarket if ypu prefer.
