Is it me or has Disney+ not done anything since the launch 2 years ago, when you compare it to netflix who always doing something new.

I'm mean I've recently gone back on to see if they have anything but other adding star and a few MCU items I can't see much, I think Disney does not seem to understand the concept, they have so many properties they could just pick an old one and remake it, needs to be made well unlike some.

with the amount of money they have and how hard they worked to make Disney plus a reality they seem to have dropped the ball or they are just content on making money on the movies and shows, even the shows and non-disney movies I feel they have only uploaded a small amount.

We have had it from launch and we have noticed loads more content over the 2 years. Double the number of documenteries for example.

As well as the 75 new shows (often with multiple seasons to binge through), more than 270 movies, and four exclusive new shows available right now, Disney has promised to add new titles to the Star line-up every single month. In total, more than 1,000 films and shows will appear on Star in the coming year

This was from the start of this year. https://www.express.co.uk/life-styl...s-Star-Release-Date-February-23-2021-Price-UK

i have both netflix and disney, i find myself watching disney loads more.
Netflix has a large catalogue but most of it is crap you will never watch.
It was good for its back catalogue and collections which it is loosing quicker than its making new stuff.
netflix has some good stuff (cobra kai and stranger things for example), but with all the "new" streaming services its not going to be able to keep up.

On disney the mandalorian, loki, wandvision and falcon-ws were all smash hits.
the "staar" content was quite a big deal as well. I had a series on netflix i was part way through that just vanished, and i picked it up again on Disney.
disney also has the PPV model where you can pay to watch the movie early which i imagine is making them some cash, this leads to there been a slow churn out of new movies to watch for free all the time.

i know netflix is trying to add gaming into the mix, but I dont see it lasting much longer.

The Star tie up added a load of new content for TV box sets. Plus a handful of movies that didn't go to cinemas because Pandemic.

I'm quite happy with it, I've kept it over Netflix.

I still watch Disney+ for the old stuff but it does not really have anything new other than the MCU stuff,
Most of the Disney stuff is old and very likely I've already watched a number of times or already own them, I feel they have still not added a huge chunk of stuff, only adding the common stuff that has been available.
Im not a diehard Marvel fan so non the MCU stuff was for me, I may watch loki at some point.

Netflix on the other had is always adding new and different stuff or taking shows others have abandoned (cobra kai and stranger things, lucifer, the witcher, car masters) thats just a had full, my point is you can always find something new on netflix.
Disney is not doing anything in my option and when they are its just the MCU.

Pretty sure Squid Game alone becoming such a global phenomenon towers over Mando and the MCU tv shows.
I'm a bit slow I've still not got round to watching this, just a little worried Id end up wanting to watch it in one go and not sleep:D.
