Word on the street is that once the jury is done today the verdict may well be determined, a bunch of live streams up on youtube, they're in recess now but I'm watching the Pakman livestream as there's commentary during these boring pauses.

You do know that over 25% of people voted the same in the same election(local) for the same reason.
And got the same effect.

I'd vote for a bunny rabbit if it made the gov change their direction.
The same happened when maggie brought in your pool tax.

I would recommend the Rekieta Law youtube channel as it's a group of 9 lawyers commenting on the case, which I find a lot more informative than Pakman's uninformed opinions.

A child shouldn't be walking the streets with a weapon of war. Its a failure of both the state and parenting. As much as he appears to revel in his infamy, he still took the lives of 2 people. I would imagine in years to come that is going to keep him awake at night.

It wouldn't surprise me if he had ptsd, you saw the way he broke down on the stand, that was clearly real.
 
Only problem with the Rekita Law one, is the talk over the trial way too much. Fine when theres nothing happening but it got frustrating very fast. I've just been watching the PBS stream, no commentators yammering on (regardless is they know what they are talking about), no chat full of idiots.

The Rekita Law one is the one I usually catch, but it does go to **** when he has more than 3or 4 other folks. Can get very annoying fast.
 
The jury of 18 are down to 12.

They have ask the judge for 11 copies of jury instructions, particularly pages 1-6 pertaining to self-defense.

I agree, and people shouldn't be out rioting, looting, burning down buildings etc which is yet another failure of the state to police these events correctly, stopping the riots & preventing people getting into harms way.

The mayor is a democrat. So anyone can riot all they want with no charges.

And the mayor has a lot of fingers in this pie.

Thats my take on using a protest vote anyway, I wouldn't have voted BNP as a protest but I can understand why people would, especially when, rarely in this case, it seemed to have actually had the desired effect on the Government of the time.

this is again one of the problems with the US. Complete lack of objectivity when it comes to facts in the name of political alignment.

the law is grey. Therefore it can’t be applied. You can’t go on what the law was supposed to say only what it does.

edit: people calling for the dismissal of the judge or that this shows the judge is biased is laughable. Almost like they want to get the excuses in early.
