Hey guys,

I have decided to downgrade my gpu and put some money towards my dj system..

so, for medium settings, 1440p would a 3060ti or 3070 be good enough?

also feel as my 3080ti is way way overkill for my needs.

cheers.

Perfect. Thanks guys!

I'll get told off if I post in your for sale thread.

Don't sell straight for cash. Sell for 3060ti/70ti (LHR versions) + cash.

If you sell for £1250 you will have to pay at least £900 to get a 3070.

Thanks for the heads up. I have changed again!

I dont play anything really really intensive, and dont care about visuals, more about performance, so I think im gonna go for a 1660ti to run at 1080p medium / high..

saving a chunk of change, will that level of card be OK for the next 8-12 months??

I'd still be careful I don't end up paying inflated prices for a lower end card while selling the 3080ti for a fair price.

true. What would you consider a fair price for a 1660ti? roughly?

They sell for £350-£400 on ebay. The fair price is a little bit irrelevant as no one will sell you one for a fair price.

£1250 is probably fine for a 3080 ti. So you want to make sure you end up with a 1660ti + £850.

hmm...

I found one new for £440. Is that reasonable?? Like I said, im more performance over visuals, so running 1080p and not 1440p for the immediate future doesn't bother me.

You can get a new XFX RX 6600 for £430 which is much faster.

Overpriced but not as bad as the 1660Ti you are looking at.

But yeh generally, if you aren't going for a 3060 or above, you shouldn't be too badly ripped off when buying new.

Others have already answered, but I get great performance (everything I play is perfectly playable) with a Vega64 at 3440x1440 high/ultra settings.

My absolute framerate probably sucks, which is why I don't check it. :P
