Driver issue R9 270 Windows 10

Can't install drivers from Ati site. Registers an error of incompatible device. System pics up card ok and identifys it.
Tried multiple times to install but always same error.
Any idea how to get round this

Solved by using Pro Enterprise drivers for Win 10 rather than standard drivers.

Screenshot of the error? We have error kbs that you should be re-directed to with a solution for the installation error.

Based on your GPU, I'll take a guess and assume you are trying to install a current driver on a legacy graphics card.

I was scrolling down the GPU list till I got to the R9 section. It's surprising how far AMD has come along since them days.

R9 290 does not seem that long ago.

Check on guru3D for the legacy drivers.... latest drivers won't work on an R9 any more, sorry.
