What TV shows are you currently watching

The Bridge is also a must-watch if you haven't seen it. (available on iPlayer)

Thanks, in some ways we would wish that we hadn't seen it. That is one of our favourite shows of all time. Absolutely superb, none of the remakes tho came close to matching the original. We will probably watch it again one day.

It's one of my most favorite series too.

I think I've watched the first 2 seasons 3 times and I'd happily watch them both again.

I think I was in the minority that I didn't like season 3 or 4, so I just pretend they don't exist.

@Alice In Wonderland With what happened..

real spoilers ahead. Don't read unless you have watched.....

..........to the actor Kim Bodnia was totally understandable considering the issues the lead detective "Saga" had. But it, for us, had a big impact on how series three and four took place. The dynamics between those two was excellent. But we also enjoyed seasons three and four, we just missed the character "Martin".
Interesting ending also in what she did at the bridge in regards to her badge.

I rewatched it again recently. Saga is one of the best TV characters ever IMO.

Shows I've recently watched

Narcos Mexico S3: 8/10
Witcher S2: 9/10
Hawkeye S1: 8/10
Succession S3: 8/10
Startrek Discovery S4: 3/10

About 4 episodes into Wheel of Time and really enjoying it, story is engaging and curious where it's going to go.

Let me say I know absolutely nothing from a books perspective and wasn't impressed by any of the trailers, went in with low expectations but started more out of boredom the other night than anything else, it's been a pleasant surprise.

The world does feel a little sanitised from the likes of GOT which really felt real and everyone seems to have a single set of clothing but that's minor nit picking.

I finished the final season of Hanna the other night, it went a bit silly a few times, but overall a fitting end to the series and had some excellent scenes. Really enjoyed the whole thing, it had a slow start back in the first season but it gets really good.

Yes, that was the reason.

Maybe as I know what happens I could try and re-watch them but the first 2 are just so perfect for me!

Agree.......

We had to just get over that what happened to Martin, but they were so perfect together it made it hard.
As it went her new partner did add much to the series and they worked well together. He had his own demons that unraveled as the two seasons progressed.

You're absolutely right. I'll think I'll definitely give them all another go at some point.

I've just finished the first episode of The Girl Before and I'm loving it!

It is so dark and sexy and menacing!

Hopefully it will continue to fascinate me and grip me in the way that it has.

Need something new to watch - would you say this is along the same path as the game?

I'm not 100% sure to be honest, there's some things that I think are different that may be from the books. But, having played the games it feels authentic to me. Particularly season 2.

I'm only 2 episodes into Season 2 and am coping much better without the bizarre time line jumping around!

Never played the games but really enjoy the show.

I'll give it a go over Christmas, thanks for that

Watched up to episode 5 on Hawkeye. Soo far so good. It kinda reminds me of how supernatural do their shows; start with a sub story, try & make it relate to the main story and in the near ending add a few hints of the main story.

Started to watch the last season of The Expanse.
