Looking for some help with my headset/purchase

I have found some headphones for sale that I would like input on as I'm prepared to pick them up today while out with the family.

They are
DT 770 pro 250ohm £60
DT 880 pro 250ohm £100

As stated, I'm using a G6 and Logitech G pro X headset at the moment, also now have a elgato wave 3 mic

That's superb price for DT770.
With external USB sound card even that coiled cable wouldn't be issue/need stretching to reach.

For open design DT990 would be better for gaming than DT880.
(unless there's been chances in tuning since Mad Lust Envy's guide was written on those)

That's used prices by the way.

So changing from the G Pro X to the DT770 is still very much worthwhile?

If you're mostly playing first-person shooters, like Apex or Call of Duty you'll want a headset that provides good surround sound so you can hear where your enemies are coming from. There are plenty of great headsets out there that won't break the bank. Although, some headsets can be pretty bulky and uncomfortable after extended use, so make sure to try them on before buying if possible.

If it helps, I've just grabbed myself the new Razer Kraken V3's Pro and so far so good, they come with a Detachable HyperClear Cardioid Mic which is great for music listening, not only that they are extremely comfy to wear, with hybrid fabric and leather memory foam Cushions and to top it off they have top-of-the-range wireless technology and in each ear cup they've inserted haptic drivers, and I can honestly say it has improved my gaming experience as my game as never sounded so good.

So far they've been a great upgrade from my previous pair of Razer Krakens and they're definitely a great headset for Call of Duty Warzone. Hopefully this gives you some things to think about when choosing a new headset for gaming. Good luck!
