RTX 2060 12GB review!

What a pointless video, total waste of resources making that video, just like the gpu is a waste of sand and plastic

how is it a miners edition? the 2060 is useless for mining. mining requires memory bandwidth not memory capacity.

This is incorrect. Mining an algorithm like ETH uses is a memory intensive one. There are many other PoW algorithms and some do not favour mem bandwidth!

look on any mining channel, none of them are recommending an rtx2060, because they suck. The 12gb wont be recommended either. even an rx580 is better.

I would not recommend or buy it either. I think Turing cards do well on FLUX (better than ampere) so that might be why crypto miners will pick up these weird cards.

Seems quite literally pointless as a card for gaming compared to the original, other than to make Nvidia money.

A crypo You Tuber has rilled against HuB - (as pointed out above) it really isnt a card for mining , the RX 6600 is better on every front

Ofc it's not a mining card, the extra vram means nothing but added expense vs a regular 2060, but these tech-tubers are just dumb.

It's too bad he didn't do any useful tests, this card could show a lot of promise in scenarios where you can use DLSS or other reconstruction techniques to render at low res & upscale but still benefit from the extra vram through high quality texture, more streaming allowed, modding, etc. I mean just right off the bat I can think of it being great for that in WD:L, CP2077, Division 2, Doom Eternal, etc.

Like I said in post #10 fellas, it the people that are not really miners that assume these things. Not forgetting the bandwagon brigade and the anti-miners. Legit mining people are all now prepping for ETH merge and the bear market, when this is here efficiency is king. Wholesale electric prices jacking up globally it will shake out the inefficient or aging GPU's.

Red Panda mining is talking RX 6600 unless Ergo goes to the moon, and the hope for the 3050 (RX 6500 will be 4gb and 64bit, ok for gaming at 1080p medium but not mining)

Yes aside from the A2000 that are now capped if you go to the FE retailer site to one per customer, the 6600XT's are best of course price dependant. Plenty of tuber channels have been buying LHR cards also (however I do not agree with prices they paid for 3090's for example, but that would typically be for space as one of these is like 3 or 4 cheap cards). You will see plenty of the pascal era stuff being offloaded, then panic miners that want to recoup max for the 30 series stuff before the scene nosedives once a proper crash kicks in.
