Yes yes I know, extremely old, but it's done me well at 4.3GHz.

I have a 1070Ti that I will be keeping.

What's the best option for me around £600?

Id go for something along these lines..
No idea what ram you have, below is 32gb 3600c18 non rgb , but at a good price. Put a solid mid range mobo(vrm's good and youll be able to drop a 13900 in a couple years if you want). Board can take 3 m. 2 gen 4 and 1 gen 3 nvme's and gpu slot is gen 5 for future gpu upgrade, and 12600k. If you need m. 2 ssd also, then budget will be just below £700, as you can add a 1tb sn750...
Just my shout...

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £630.47 (includes shipping: £10.50)

Thanks mate, was looking at AMD, didn't think about the latest Intel chips.

I'm very much out of the loop now.

AMD s/b releasing there 3d v cache cpu's next month that will be am4 socket. I've got a 5800x with b550 mobo, but most b550 or x570 boards only support 2 name's and gpu slot is pcie4 so not quite as future proof as the z690 boards...and although you can get a x570 tomahawk for £180 ish(last I checked), youd need a 5800x to compete with the 12600k So you end up paying more on the CPU side, with a mobo platform changing to am5 later this year so no future upgrade path for current AMD CPU's. Intel at least you'll have next year too, and a gpu in next few years with pcie5 gpu slot
If you plan on keeping build for 5 years with no interim upgrade, then maybe see what AMD CPU's are like and how they're priced, and then decide(if you're happy with 2 nvme slots etc)
Also double check your correct cooling will fit on a z690 board if you go that route
