On another note, Sterling is poop. His touch seems to be getting worse.

He’ll score now.

In the Euros he was junk apart from the goals he scored. He was far more effective being the guy in the 6 yard box putting the ball in the net than running at teams or contribution outside the box.

Deserved goal by Arsenal, hope they go on to win it.

It will then loop back to the start of 2020 season.

2020: Arteta was the real brains behind City, you can see City are struggling now Arteta has gone.
2021: Arteta out, out of his depth, clueless, bullies players etc etc
2022: Arteta was the real brains behind City, you can see City are struggling now Arteta has gone.

weve got the best home record in the prem i hope 2nd half is much of the same and we hold out

our remaining games against top opposition are mainly at home, lets see what we can do :)

Lacazette doing a brilliant job at the mo. Far superior to Auba as a lone striker.

Auba is undoubtably the better goal scorer but as this is showing, beating the best teams requires the entire team to work hard and put the team over their own personal glory. Auba doesn't do that, Ronaldo doesn't do that. There is a damn good reason why the false 9 became a thing and why the best strikers in the world are mostly team players.

I don't want to speak too early, but looks like Arteta has turned around fortunes versus the dreadful start to the season? I'm sure most Arsenal fans will agree that on paper, it's not a great squad but Arteta is getting good performances out of the team. Fair play - hopefully they hang on to win as it'll be good to see a close battle for the title (which I think will be between Liverpool and City as Chelsea have dropped off recently).

There was nothing wrong with that challenge. I do wish refs just started dishing out cards when players come flying up to them to whinge. Let the captain talk to the ref and thats it. Cards for anyone else who argues.

That could easily be given. Only thing that will save Xhaka is that Silva keeps going a bit before going down.

Xhaka strikes again. If he hadn't grabbed his shirt I don't think it would have been given.

Which is ridiculous as he was going down by the time the shirt pull happened. I assume he gave it for the leg he stuck out that made contact.

Its a soft one but based on current rules it was always likely.
