Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

Totally ridiculous, learn to cook and stop wasting money on toys, especially is 'meat is so expensive'

Maybe we can narrow down what is allowed and what isn't? Are cookers okay or are we over a camp fire type situation? Gas or electric? Both allowed?

Some Dulux Easycare paint for the smallest room in the house.

Looks nice - deep fossil?

Is this thread only for self-validation? Surely the point is that everyone is allowed their opinion, even if it is negative?

The underlying purpose of this thread seems to be “look at me, I bought something”, which is a little daft anyway.

There’s negative opinion and there’s just being plain rude. It’s more the tone that annoyed me. Just plain rude and aggressive. Like I’m some sort of idiot for buying a meat thermometer.

Excellent, used it today for Sunday roast, came out far more juicy and tender than when I followed the supermarket instructions.

This was the pork
I don't think I've ever made roast pork. Inspired. Thanks Rob

Well done on the crackling too!

Oh god! I'm seeing this at 5am. I wouldn't mind a slice of that on a sandwich right now.

I'm sure they are the same tiles that we have, yours looks great. What is the finishing price across the top of the tiles please?

Also is the floor laminate or vinyl?

Hi there, I'm not sure of the specific tile edging trim used but it appears to be this (or nearly this) colour but with a brushed effect.

The floor is engineered wood.

Edit:

Actually, this one may be a better match colour-wise:

I think it’s a great bit of kit having had it about a year or so now. Has saved roasts that would have been ruined if I had just gone on weight based timings for sure. The fact that it’s plotting the temperature throughout cooking also means it’s giving you good predicted finish times and resting times also which can make your other timings easier. Doing a roast dinner is all about getting your timings of everything to be just right at same time and this definitely makes it easier AND it’s a gadget, and who doesn’t love a gadget?

What's the difference between that and a £10 thermometer (or a £20 wireless one)?

Thank you, one other question if you don't mind, curious to know if the ceiling matches the walls or if you went white?

Thanks again
