hi all my graphic card ASUS TUF RTX 3060 OC 12GB this is slotted into PCI_E1, for this to work i had to change settings in Bios to GEN_3. But i thought the CPU supported PCIe® 4.0
am i doing something wrong.
below is my motherboard and CPU specification

AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Six Core 4.6GHz (Socket AM4) Processor - Retail
CP-3CC-AM

MSI MAG X570 Tomahawk WiFi (AMD AM4) DDR4 X570 ATX Motherboard
MB-351-MS

Hi.

It should work at pcie4 settings as the 3060 is pcie4 but sometimes the motherboard can be finicky . It won't have any impact on performance at pcie 3 speed.

Do you have the latest bios ?

i have had a look, i built this computer about 6 months ago, I remember as i am Running the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Six Core 4.6GHz

There is one more bios uodate which is a beta bios but I wouldnt reccomened that unless your desperate.

I would just leave it for now if alls working well as you not loosing any performance.
