Hi

Got a ps5, would like to stick the ps4 in daughters bedroom (she presently uses my old ps3)

Would it still connect to my psn account etc. Or anything I need to do.

Thank you.

Just factory restore it from the settings menu if you wanted it to start fresh?

Don't need to necessarily have it fresh. Just wondering if I can turn on, connect to our WiFi and she can play games.

And if it would also connect to my PSN account as my ps5 uses that

I'm pretty sure you can't game on both at the same time (when you start a game on one, it kicks you out on the other)

If that's right, you can create a psn account for your daughter and leave your account on there - she logs into her own account, but will still be able to access your games on the ps4 and play online (if you have ps plus). I think the only impact is she wouldn't be able to play the ps+ monthly games as they're tied to the account - not sure about the ps+ game collection, they might still work (add to library on PS5, log into your account on PS4 and download)
