A 6500 XT is really not aimed for me at 4K max settings so there is no chance I'd ever use one.

Good find, seems to be okay at 1080p.Sapphire Radeon RX 6500 XT Pulse Review - Hitman 3 | TechPowerUp
Tech Power Up - reviewing Hitman 3 on a 6500XT - at 4k
Good find, seems to be okay at 1080p.
Not sure what settings were used as there is no information provided on what was tested.
Fair enough, I only looked at the Hitman page. Should get better FPS then with a medium-high preset. From TPU

maybe they purchase a card and plan to keep it for a few years and there monitor is 1080 which they are fine with
if your running 4k 144hz or whatever your upgrading every year guaranteed just to keep up, some people don't want that upgrade pressure
I'm sure I've played this game last year!?!?

Just got released on Steam. There's a group of people that won't buy via Epic Games. Linked article is from Jan last year.
Humbug has been furiously firefighting in various CPU and GPU threads recently. Looks like he's decided to fight fire with fire.Jan 22nd 2021, I think someone was looking for a recent AMD win and missed the actual date of the article .....
Surprised to see Linux spitting out more FPS at 1080P though, what's going on there @pete910?
What is not the norm though is a Linux distro being stable or at all usable for the majority of use-case scenarios, good for those with loads of time on their hands though. As a desktop environment... Linux sucks.
Excellent when used with an old laptop for browsing the web and for someone with a fixed use-case.
