Running a 12900k Asus Strix Z690 a Gaming mobo with Corsair 3000mhz dominator 2x8gbz
Found my board has set the CPU volts to 1.45. And i cant set the xmp for my ram. After setting xmp in bios it refuses to boot and clocks back to 2133mhz.
I've now read there are a few people running into this problem. Has there been a fix found?

Had XMP problems with the Tuf Z690 plus wifi with a 12700k. The only bios that would be stable with XMP enabled was 0503. all other would crash constantly/

However the new one just released a few days ago, 1003 I think, has been 100% stable so far. Overclocking seems better auto voltages are much more sensible.

Using 4 x 8gb 3200 Kingston fury or beast DDR4.

update your bios to the latest version and give it another go. Or set the ram timings and voltages manually. Check the alder lake thread. Quite a few people have run into this problem.
