It's nothing like Forza, and how have you never played any GT games?
Im old school so when someone says forza, i assume motosport, not that kids version horizon...
GT is old school. Last proper GT game was GT6 on the PS3 released 2013

I can see why that may have been confusing considering this is the PS5 thread lol.
I previously purchased an Xbox just for forza motorsport 7(actually got the limited edition blue Forza Xbox) because there was no real GT out for PlayStation.
thankfully I no longer need an Xbox for my racing fix

the weather radar I’ve been reading about is intriguing. Apparently it can rain on parts of the track, while other parts stay dry. Which sounds like a really cool addition.

I played forza 7 on pc and while it looked good and ran very very well it was a complete joke of a game.
Loot box's, no qualifying and the worst physics of the simcades by far. Clearly designed for kids.
Really looking forward to gt7 tho, I'm thinking it will be epic.

Not played a GT game since the PS2/3 days, but graphically they were always something to behold and the car handling was second to none, so really looking forward to seeing how GT7 turns out. Can’t wait to get my licence, buy a clapped out old wreck and start racing.

I drifted away from racing games many years ago. The last GT I owned was GT2. Last racing game I played was Forza 7 and it wasn’t great (imo).
I was spoiled a few years back when I played in a friends chair/wheel set up and so playing on a pad always seemed a bit meh after that.
But I don’t have the space for that type of set up. However, with the new pad functionality I’d be interested to see how it feels to play on pad again but I can’t see it feeling as ‘right’ as a force feedback wheel and pedals etc.
That said, if GT7 lives up to the hype, it’s likely still going to be a must buy for me!
