Bosch Oven death trap

i'd read the rest of this this story.

certainly more entertaining that reading about a grownup being surprised to find hot air coming out of his oven
It's an insult from frankie boyles audience annihilation compilation on youtube

someone says their job is an estate agent or something like that, then he told them they should stick their face in a meat grinder and go live in the woods

I thought I’d heard it before!

I have an undercounter Bosch oven. I'm 6'4" though so by the time the burning hot air has reached my face it's more like a pleasant warm breeze.

Perhaps the OP should invest in some high heels.
You must have arms the length of a monkey to get able to open the oven while still standing:cry:.

Slight exaggeration but wanted other opinion's on the operation of our Bosch oven. This is the oven in question https://www.bosch-home.co.uk/produc...ogglebox=manuals/Togglebox=accessoriesOthers/

We've had it about a year and it replaced a Die Deitrich oven of similar specification but of a 2005 vintage.
The problem: When you open the door the exhaust of steam/hot air is quite aggressive and risks you burning your hand or face. Of course the way to "manage" this risk is to very slowly open to say 50mm and carefully let any steam out but we never had to do this with our other oven. Is this common now is such appliances or do you reckon we have a lemon?

its a shame your such low class pond skimmate, my Gucci oven cooks my salads to perfection every time, it doesnt even need to be plugged in!

I got salesman of the year award and decided to treat my self to it. Was only 32k an absolute bargain

I wouldnt be able to reach the handle of my bottom oven (which is at the top of the door) stood up straight unless i had ape arms - my hands would have to be hanging below my knees. Id need 5ft long arms and i'm only 5'11.

My range oven doors open down, I don't see the issue being raised here. You see your legs, in the middle are things called knees and they allow you to bend and then you can reach things lower than you can when standing straight.
