Good evening all.
Building a PC is something I only do every few years or so and this time its not for me. Could you kindly confirm they're a good combo?

TUF GAMING B560M-PLUS WIFI (SOCKET LGA 1200) MICRO ATX MOTHERBOARD - £150
CORE I5-11600K 3.90GHZ (ROCKET LAKE) SOCKET LGA1200 PROCESSOR - RETAIL - £230
GEFORCE RTX 3060 GAMING OC V2 LHR 12GB GDDR6 PCI-EXPRESS GRAPHICS CARD - £560
FURY RENEGADE 16GB (2X8GB) DDR4 PC4-28800C19 4266MHZ DUAL CHANNEL KIT (HX442C19PB3K2/16) - £170
TOTAL - £1,110

Is that graphics card 'too good' relative to all the other parts? The other option would be a 3050. As that is around half the price.
My friend hasn't confirmed whether he needs to include a new case or not. Any recommendations that fit the above mobo?
Which CPU cooler should I be adding to this list?

Other than that, I just need to add thermal paste and a copy of Windows.
Any feedback greatly appreciated, as he wants to get ordering :)

I'd check out the 12400F which out performs the 11600k while only costing £170 and B660 boards start around £100 depending on what features you need.

With ram you're best sticking with 3600mhz as most systems will need manual tweeking with anything above that. Also spending £170 is wasted on 16gbs of ram when those start around £50 or £100 for 32gb and the extra budget could go on a better GPU.

As for Gpus the 6600 6600XT 3050 or 3060 would all fit well with the above and even more powerful cards like the 6800XT/3080 wouldn't really be held back so it's just depends how much performance your friend is after and how much budget he has to play with.

Got below for £1148

Mobo MSI pro z690 wifi d4
Cpu Intel 12600k
Gpu Asus RTX 3060 dual Oc v2
Ram 16gb corsair lpx 3600c18
Nvme Ssd 1tb sn570

A 12500 will save£75, 12400 will save £90, 12400f £110
