I am pretty sure his forces feel the same about the whole idea of invading Ukraine too but here we are. I wouldn't put anything past Putin.
Yeah seen the RC-135's over there a few times, HOMER11/HOMER19 I think.
It's only pretty recently that the Hawk has been flying over the black sea in general, didn't think it would go that far to the East though.

Biden administration not weak after all, contrary to what some on here claim. Very clever from them.
To be fair it's probably mostly the Pentagon laying out what is possible and the administration choosing what they think is best, clearly the Obama era choices weren't sensible and they weren't about to emulate it.
Biden has moved against a lot of what he previously believed when it came to foreign policy thankfully.
A lot of this is coming out of the military/military side of the administration.

It wouldn't be surprising, just like those sanction clauses aren't surprising, everything about all this seems to be half arsed apart from the Ukrainians resolve
When it comes to mobile phones one could say that there's a benefit to Western intelligence gathering for them to have them.
Airplane parts is a tricky one as there are strategic dependencies in the US military I believe (or maybe it's the defence contractors?), not really a surprise and would hope that the circumstances as they are would incentivise insourcing or finding new partners.
