Ukraine Invasion - Please do not post videos showing attacks/similar

I'm guessing the best we can hope for is that Putin gets cold feet and stops/pulls back to areas he's taken but its hard to see what's really happening since there isn't enough information on the Russian movement. I can but hope that countries not in NATO join as soon as possible as its very clear NATO wont act on Russia invading a country that's on its own between NATO and Russia due to fear of all out war on a near world wide scale. I live a hope that NATO's rule of an attack on one member is an attack on all holds true.

I also feel Germany has become very weak all the way through this, I fear they have lost the right to lead Europe in the future. Getting rid of Nuclear power, burning horrific poor quality coal, no LNG terminal and a great bit huffing gas pipe with another on the way from Russia make them look rather sad right now. I'm also fearful as well now where the UK is for its future energy security, time we stop people blocking renewable installs cause they don't like them being on their door steps and we build more Nuclear plants, energy is BASIC requirement in modern life.

The real leaders of the eu voted to leave 6 years ago renewables won't be enough, we need nuclear or tap up the coal reserves

Oddly I'd expect him to be safer in Ukraine. All too easy for a car bomb or Novichok on the door handle/perfume as we've found out.

He's been really impressive, he doesn't seem to be doing it for the fame and glory either, he really seems to care about his country and people.

My point exactly.

I feel sorry for those Russian lads if anything. Dont follow orders get taken out by KGB or whatever, follow orders and look what happened.

The Russian leadership needs to go.
 
Democracies will always win Dictatorships, democracies maybe slow and appear complex and bureaucratic also ineffective but once they get started nothing can stop them, because the power of people which is democracy is unstoppable

He said Putin was a genius for recognising the 2 disputed areas as independent republics. I wonder how that was received in Beijing in regards to Taiwan? Maybe not that well considering they don't seem to have his back right now.

The US and Europe seem to be pretty united right now, more united than in a while in fact. If anything Putin has pulled them together. I'm not sure the narrative you and Trump are trying to paint is backed up by the facts. But then Trump never really cared about facts, he was more of a facts were what he said they were, alternative facts even. That didn't work out to well for him in the end.
