Hi I am new to the forum and don't know if this is the sort of place to ask, but my question is pretty retarded.
Is it possible to make the part on a television (for aerial) transmit any kind of radio out, through the aerial line?

The hardware has model numbers/a brand name on it but Google returns nothing for these searches.
After some research into aerials I know they don't transmit power, but I hope that by putting power IN to it, then it will be able to put power out through the aerial on my roof, through the aerial line/outlet on my wall...
This is a scrap board/salvage so it doesn't matter if it breaks and I don't have a telly loicense (British) so I won't be using TV things anyway
My guess is that the silver casing in here, if I could make it go to lower frequencies, then it could go down into radio bands? Then shooting power through it, transmit out into those bands through the aerial, whatever I want to put in

Edit: or putting out morse through it, to be better than the copper wiring I have planned out with my neighbor (legally)

Welcome to the forum.

This sounds dodgy. There's probably home consumer equipment that may achieve what you want in a safe manner?

There's rules and regulations in the amount of power you can transmit through aerials. That's why home walkie talkies are accessible, but higher powered CB Radios require a Amateur Radio License for use, hoping that you understand that you can balls things up.

Nothing sketchy, I just want a little project with this piece of hardware I found in a scrap TV.
I don't want to use it as a TV (and don't own one) because that whole thing is silly IMO. It would be cool to learn about Radios, too. I have been learning Morse. Seems fitting right now...

It would be cool to do. Is it possible, do you know?

No.

Even if you could, it would be illegal without the appropriate licence - And an amateur radio Foundation licence is pretty straightforward to get these days, have a look here.
