I wish I could be a relaxed as you, I'm the same as the other guy, I'm a little bit terrified now. Gone from being the one saying "It's all just sabre rattling" to "I can't see this not happening now". It's a damn scary time and makes you appreciate just how bad it was during the cold war. It's been like this for a couple of days and they lived with it for years.

You could take solace in the fact that it didn't happen then, inspite of all the collosal tensions and threats.

You can be guaranteed all countries have placed their nuclear forces on high alert too after Putin's comments.

The Sun article saying they are now live as if it has taken hours to get them prepped and in position. Any country with Nuclear weaponry can surely fire them within minutes of deciding to fire them. So Putin saying they are now live is just more bully boy statements. They are always "live", otherwise why have them?

Not sure I believe it. I would have expected the jets were far more provoking. I guess Russia is just lashing out everywhere at the moment.

He has no reason to, the war isn't going as bad for him as everyone is making out, OCUK posters are ever so slightly biased lol

I reckon there is a minimum number of nukes that are always "live" for any nuclear country while others may be in a deeper standby phase.
