Thing is, I'm sure the core of their army would/should/could be incredibly potent in a conflict, against anyone, but only if used correctly. As someone said, they've gone on this thunder run to Kyiv imitating the US run to Baghdad in gw2 trying to decapitate Ukraine's government. Difference being the US and allies pretty much cleared the route and demolished any obstacle in the month preceding. They haven't, probably to try and get it done before sanctions bite too hard. They've also attacked in lots of other places diluting their logistical support and numbers so that they've had to use outdated armour and inexperienced troops to go with it. Also their air cover is clearly not even close to enough and the helos are desperately vulnerable.
Everyone thought with Ukraine being pancake flat it'd be perfect terrain for an armour invasion, except armour can't travel through trees and with Ukraine being huge they're all sticking to roads. So easy to predict where and when to hit with vehicles parked bumper to bumper next to fuel tankers. It's madness!

Edit: I don't think anyone bar US and maybe China would have the ground forces needed to truly take a whole other country that was moderately well defended. It's not the days of the USSR, almost no one has that number of troops and vehicles now.
We're also seeing what drones are capable of in a peer on peer fight as opposed to Taliban in mountains. Total game changers. I always thought the top players would have total jamming on those sort of devices. Clearly not.
 
Are the Ukrainian bayrakters armed? I see some conflicting info re bomb rack adaptations when looking them up.

If not armed, what type of munitions is it that they are they guiding?

they seem pretty effective from what footage I’ve seen.

The thing is, war crimes will take years of legal work and the result will be sancctions and arrest warrants for people that will never leave Russia. Sadly won't have any impact

He's not talking about nuking us or using an ICBM, he's talking about hitting Ukraine with a small one like a nuclear tipped artillery shell, those do less damage than a MOAB so he could fire off a few in Ukraine and make a horrific statement but the west wouldn't retaliate with our own nukes in defence of Ukraine.
 
this war is becoming comical for the Russkies, their abandoned tanks are taken by semi drunk ukranians and they drive them for the LULZ. Its almost embarrassing. His generals must suffer extreme anxiety atm.

Also , what does he mean "DENAZIFICATION" of ukraine? how will he accomplish that, who are the nazis? what a farce

Indeed. I almost feel sorry for the poor ******** who don't have much choice or really want to be there. It's like they're surprised when the locals start shooting them. Almost, I then see the rocket barrages hitting civilian tower blocks...

It's projection as it's based on something that Russia is more than happy to engage in with the Wagner mercenaries who's leader is a known neo nazi along with his funding of neo nazis across the West to destablise us.

Also they've spent a great of time with that sort of rhetoric with Putin's older base, so it's also to rationalise the ridiculousness of assaulting a 'brethren' nation where many Russians have immense connections to.

Loads of them probably very scared with zero military knowledge, just for one man big ego trip "I want to conquer Ukraine" like im back in the old days.
 
I was worried about Turkey and their own questionable leader, but I think i'd support them invading Syria at this point to topple it so Russia has one less ally.
