No they are defending not attacking.

The defence they mount is by knowing the route the enemy takes (Brritish and US intellegence apparantly) and ambushing them. They are doing it to great effect.

Yeah but a defense is only successful if the attackers give up and leave or are wiped out. Until that happens 'winning' is a problematic term. They're doing better than expected but it remains to be seen if that is enough.

The defence is working so far, they take the fight to the russians they are outnumbered and outgunned and they become the cannon fodder.

it Gorrilla warfare, hit and run, and they are hitting hard and fast one column at a time.

Yeah, it's this, and that Putin won't ever back down that is leading me to think he'll nuke somewhere. Or use his thermobarics. He'll bank on not losing very much by doing so and gaining an enormous fear factor from being willing to do it. As brave as the Ukrainians are, they won't be able to stand having cities levelled.

The best way out of this is Putin being deposed. Until then, Ukraine is ****ed.

The west's media narrative is still toeing the line that this isn't likely or predictable, when it is and has been sadly. Our government and media have been entirely complicit.
 
I sure it was posted earlier but it was reveled on the new that Russia reserves war chest of $650b is largely kept in foreign banks and is subject to sanctions. It should be confiscated and given to Ukraine to buy more drones and Poland to help out with the refuge crisis!

This, he can level the cities and call it a victory when in reality he thought they would roll in on day one, everyone would surrender and he could replace the government and have a puppet state like Belarus.
Thats what it was all about, fear.

Yeah much of their war chest will now be ‘frozen’ and the stuff they have in Rubels will be pretty much useless.

Cut off the rest of their cash by stopping gas/oil exports and their economy is toast!
 
Going to bed, must say I have watched this thread for a few days and find it very enlightening.

Better than sky or BBC news app.

Hopefully wake up without a 'nuclear weapon launched' message
