Ukraine Invasion - Please do not post videos showing attacks/similar

This is from a post on FB who lives over the road from me.

As some of you may know I'm preparing now for a trip to Ukraine to aid in their fight for freedom, I feel that this is the time for me to bow out as a admin member and thank you all for the laughs we have had. Sometimes you gotta stand up and be counted and this is one of them times for me. I'm assuming I will be out of signal for a while in around a week's time and pre-occupied to say the least. Thanks to all keep it nice civil and I will see you all on my return ... Big Brown out ! ( Mic drop )

09m55s onwards, as well as generally staying balanced throughout and repeatedly saying he condemns armed conflict of any kind and supports those who are suffering in Ukraine.

To echo the quote from his video: tyranny is the deliberate removal of nuance. I can't help but feel that those criticising Brand's video here are doing so not based on his actual points(@Minstadave excepted). I think the fact that you @Sankari didn't even notice he disagreed with both of the arguments he was reading demonstrates this pretty well. I think all of us need to bear in mind that we're human and are therefore not immune to propaganda, and due to that there's a good chance when met with opposing views we are going to have to work very hard to stay objective.
 
I won’t comment on the Russell Brand video until I’ve compared it with the Sooty and Sweep piece.

You are free to watch what you want of course.

Not everybody is a shill. Naom Chomsky appeared on BBC and in the case of Andrew Marr explained why they participate in propaganda. Cathy Newman demonstrated just how blinkered western media is when embarrassing herself with her attempts to frame Jordon Peterson.

Just because Cathy Newman made a mess of her program doesn't automatically mean the entire Western media is brought low by it.

No its not. When your host doesn't even understand the implications of the Minsk agreement and what it meant for Ukraine government then at that point its pure Russian propaganda.

Its comical that you buy into that...

News outlets provide a service and have overheads to cover. Bellends like Brand are just trying to line their own pockets by exploiting the kind of sad, emasculated men that gobble this garbage up.

I love people who defend Putin's actions by parroting Russian propaganda that NATO promised not to move east its a load of crap by the way their was never such an agreement.
