There’s been multiple posts about Russia warning civilians to leave the area before attacking. If you think ‘babies on bayonets’ is going to work you’re about 100 years too late.
Given the price of munitions and the effort to deliver them.., I don’t reckon random shelling/bombing us likely either.
If you can shell someone who’s likely to shoot back or a grandma… you shell the guy with the gun.

We already know what "civilian corridors" were like in Syria, there's no sense in trusting Russia on that.

Well the source in twitter says the Super Puma then went for SAR mission of the downed MIG also crashed. They dont know where they crashed though, if it went down in the Black sea then its very worrying

The Jet crashed and helicopter went to rescue them, that helicopter crashed too with 5 onboard and nobody survived from what I've read, bad weather was reported so it's possibly just bad luck it happened during these tense times

Part of the problem with arming and encouraging civilians is so that it makes them targets. It’s a great story but unnecessarily puts untrained people in harms way.

Also it’s inevitable that some civilians are going to get caught in the cross fire or by stray shells ect. War is a dirty and messy business.

If it turns out that Russia have shot the mig down accidentally due to bad weather and visibility, would article 5 be enacted or would NATO accept it an accident? Would be a shame to start WW3 over a mistake.
