Only worry about the things you have control over and don't worry about the things you have zero control over, such as if WW3 happens. Because what can you do?!?!?!....Nothing.

Now i know its bad that Ukraine are being invaded by russia but Those specific Ukranian's denying none white people to board the trains to flee the country do not make them look good....

Lets not ignore the fact that a select few of ukranians are being racist by denying these people the same right to flee the country.

This needs to be made full aware in the media instead of brushing it under the carpet...
 
Heartbreaking interview on breakfast news this morning with an ex Ukranian tennis player who left his wife and kids in Hungary and came to Kyiv to defend the city, he seemed pretty resigned to the fact he probably won't be seeing them again.

It's going to be gutting when Zelensky gets killed, I wonder how that will affect the Ukranians forthright defence. Will they continue to fight for control or will that be the point it turns into a protracted guerilla war?

The videos I seen were a male trying to board a train infront of woman and children, then trying to create a fuss on social media. People are forgetting these trains are brimmed full and desperate woman and children are trying to flee. But of course, lets start some sort of race divide at the same time as a war in the same country via social media - a reliable truthful news outlet.

Agreed. A lot of Europe including the EU has a big problem with racism. Even places like Spain and Italy, but especially Eastern Europe. Not uncommon to see graffiti with swastikas and the like. I even slept on a park bench in Bari with a few scrawled on it.

There are many videos that clearly show none white people being denied to board the train.

Dont be brushing this under the carpet pretending that there is no racism happening there. That is a big issue itself. Many just brush it off the carpet ignoring it.

ITs time we make full aware of this.

As i said, its sad and bad this conflict is happening but whats worse is that even despite desperate times of help and need, people stil cant put there racist behaviours behind and see a human being and not a coloured person....

ANd before you critise me, no i am not saying all ukranians are racist. just a select few.

I have ukranian friends and all lovely people and i even use to play sunday league football with a team filled with ukranians and me being the only coloured person in the team.

THey all treated me fairly and with respect..

It is just a shame that a select few in ukraine stil have a backward mentality

Not sure Putin can control where indiscriminate missiles are going to land plus our intelligence think there will be infiltrated death squads out looking for him already.

Putin cant handle the escalation that would cause.

That's what I was wondering, would it break or strengthen Ukranian resolve, I don't see why there would be any escalation from the rest of world if it happens.

Wasn't there a US tweet suggesting they seemed relatively close? No idea how genuine it was.

I'm not sure where the information came about the Russian payouts to families of dead/injured soldiers, but that was also close to Ukraine's numbers.

The numbers do seem to have ramped up a fair amount though over the past couple of days, incidentally days when we've had less news and updates. If they are remotely accurate and they continue on, one has to wonder how long Russia can wage war. Over the 170,000-200,000 troops that were encircling Ukraine, some 70-80% of them are inside the country. Current numbers are suggesting over 1,000 a day dead/injured/captured/deserted etc..

A change of tactics by Russia could reduce those numbers, but then every day Ukraine is getting more arms/firepower, and Russia still hasn't won the areal battle.
