Wether it’s right of wrong is one discussion but if it guarantees that fighting stops and no more blood is spilt you think they wouldn’t think about it?

There's no guarantee it stops the fighting, the Russians might agree to stop attacking, but what about Ukrainians of the land that is ceded to Russia or thier puppet DPR/LPR ? Do you think they will just agree to give up ?

A false flag incident doesn't make tanks appear from thin air.
If the world know about it in advance its not going to hold up for long.

Russia may own the state TV but the generation that will be conscripted don't pay as much attention to it

Whilst I wouldn't expect it to stop the fighting altogether, Russia/Putin isn't about to just walk away from Ukraine. Even if Putin was assasinated from within, I don't think they'd just pick their toys and just walk away. There are Russians in Ukraine that will feel like they've been abandoned. Some form of breakup, as peacefully as possible, is the least worse option.

Absolutely not. It will reinforce Russia's spin on "saving" Ukraine and Ukraine would probably lose face to the West as they would no longer be defending themselves.
