Yeah I was going to say. Co-op is mega expensive. I see little old ladies doing full weeks shopping, clearly have Russian money lining their pockets.

If I was Ukranian now I wouldn't stop until either Russians were subsisting on rats or Putin was gone. There's a price to be paid.

I don't disagree. I just think there needs to come a time where both sides take a break and start making some proper decisions. Ukrainians have every right to kick out every Russian soldier. The worry is those decisions don't come until Ukraine is a smoking ruin similar to Grozny in the 90s. Both Russia and Ukraine financially and economically devastated with very little means to rebuild.

only on a sunday, actually went shopping today, home bargains for crap, sainsburies(nectar prices) then off to aldi

I don't disagree. I just think there needs to come a time where both sides take a break and start making some proper decisions. Ukrainians have every right to kick out every Russian soldier. The worry is those decisions don't come until Ukraine is a smoking ruin similar to Grozny in the 90s. Both Russia and Ukraine financially and economically devastated with very little means to rebuild.

I think the difference is that a free Ukraine would see billions of dollars in aid pouring in to rebuild it, Russia not so much...

From what Macron said, Putin isn't going to rest until all of Ukraine is under Russian control.

... and there's nothing we can do about it. We just have to hope someone within the Russian government/military shoots him.

Yes they would, if Putin is assinated it's to stop the war. It's gone to far, I would assume the generals are shocked by how far he has taken this.

If not the generals then the oligarchs will have influence inside the kremlin who could put a rather large bounty on his head.
